OVERVIEW/WHAT'S NEW: We have issued another Extreme Cold Warning which is in effect from 9 pm this evening until 9 am Thursday morning. Lots of snow and ice are on the roadways, and some melting which occurs today will result in sheets of ice tonight into Thursday morning. Don’t be lulled into a sense of security in seeing the sun doing its job and thinking the roads will be clear when the snow melts. It will re-freeze tonight. Be careful. If you don’t have to be on the road, don’t.
WHAT: Extreme Cold Warning for apparent temperature values down to around 10.
WHEN: From 9 am this evening through 9 am Thursday morning.
WHERE: The entire area.
CONFIDENCE: High.

PLEASE STAY OFF OF THE ROADS
Icy conditions have caused dangerous driving conditions. This is an unprecedented winter weather event and it will require a level of patience from everyone. Please remain off of the roads unless absolutely necessary. Below are the current closures according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office which has deputies out and about this morning.
